METHOD 1 (at handlebar switch)
Attach the RES BLUE wire to the Blue/Yellow wire coming from the handlebar switch. Then attach the RES GREEN wire to ground. YELLOW wire is not used.

METHOD 2 (at tether switch)
Cut on of the GREEN wire that are at the pull-cord tether switch. Attach the RES BLUE wire to one cut end and attach the RES YELLOW wire to the other cut end. RES GREEN wire is not used.

Besides the left knee, under the gas tank, there is a factory kill switch with a tether that can be connected to the rider. Cut one of the wires that go to that switch and then connect the BLUE wire from the RES12VU to one of the cut ends and then connect the YELLOW wire from the RES12VU to the other cut end. This will allow the RES12VU to break the continuous loop in the Kazuma’s safety circuit and cause the engine to shut off. The tethered kill switch will still operate normally.

Then connect the RES12VU's GREEN wire to the vehicles frame/ground. In this configuration the RES12VU will ground the B/W wire when it is in the LOCK position and shut the engine-off.
